Emerentiana was SaintAgnes' foster sister. She professed her belief in Christ during her passion ( on the same day of Agnes') and thus gainedentry into the Mystical Body of Christ as well as His Heavenly Kingdom through both Baptism by Desire.
May blessed Emerentiana, Thy Virgin and Martyr,
who was ever pleasing to Thee by the merit of her
chastity and by her witness to Thy power, implore
for us Thy forgiveness, we beseech Thee, O Lord.
Through Our Lord Jesus Christ, Thy Son, Who lives
and reigns with Thee in the unity of the Holy Ghost,
God, world without end. Amen.
