Life and Devotion of Saint Nicholas of Myra

There is not much that can be said about Saint Nicholas that has not been said by his principal biographer Michael the Archimandrite. What stuck out to me upon reading about this great saint was his trip to Syria Palestina, where he lived in a cave near the birthplace of Our Lord. Let us pray:

Collect Prayer for the Feast of Saint Nicholas, Bishop

O God, Who dist adorn the holy bishop Nicholas

with innumerable miracles grant, we beseech

Thee, by his merits and prayers we may be

deliverd from the flames of hell. Through Our

Lord Jesus Christ, Who lives and riegns with You

the Holy Spirit, God, forever and ever.
