Life and Martyrdom of Saints Marius, Martha, and Companions

Saints Marius, Martha, Audifax, and Abachum were a Persian family, whom upon seeing Christians martyred, came to their aid. The Roman authorities learned of these actions and killed them for their lack of worship to the Roman gods. Charlemagne's biographer had relics of this holy family, as did Prum Abbey in Trier. 

Collect Prayer for the Feast of Saints Marius, Martha, and Companions

Hear Thy people, O Lord, making supplication under the patronage 

of Thy Saints, that Thou wouldst grant us both to enjoy peace in this life, 

and find help unto life eternal. Through Our Lord Jesus Christ, Your son, 

Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, God, forever and ever.
